    8. Thanks Guys. Heres a ribbon bar with the Medal for the 800th Anniversary of Moscow. If anybody can identify the bottom ribbon i would appriciate it. Order of Victory

Justlooking through some soviet items and I found a vetran of of GPW Screw back badge, its very similar to the Leningrad screw nut on my Distinguished Military Service 1st Class exept it says Saint Petersburg not Leningrad. Could the screw plate be off somthing else? The plot thickens.........

    17. Recently aquired from Nota Bene's website - Order of Glory 2nd Class. Heres the discription: S/n is 17585 (thin variation). Has moderate wear, enamel is intact, only about 5% of gilt is still present, but unmistakably a 2nd class. Researched to Jr. Sergeant Skrylev, Mikhail Timofeevitch. Awarded in 1945 - for breaking an enemy defense line at Sandomir, crossing the Nida River, and crossing the Order River. With his artillery piece he had destroyed multiple enemy positions, observation posts, machine guns, mortars, etc. Comes with a brief research and translation. This will be my first medal with any reaserch I will let you know more when it arrives, but here are a couple pics enjoy

    20. Just checked out the mondor site andthere is a close up of the first class mint mark and it is same, should of checked it first any way I cant understand what the Russian says, so any help on that sore would be nice. Here s the pic from the mondor site OoV
