    3. #3 Prior to 21 May 1940 various secondary colors were used, along with gold devices for officers. Officer's with white metal devices (on other than grey Neberfarbe) indicates a reserve Official. After 21 May 1940 all Officials used a grey secondary color ansd silver/white devices
    4. next are a trio of Company level Administration Officer Boards. This is a "been there" board- note the soil marks around the pip and were the button would have been.
    5. Next is a "Truppensonderdienst Offizier des Verwaltungdienst (TSD)", which translates to Special Service Officer, Administration Branch. I won't pretend to understand what this means and if someone wold care to explain it to me what they are I would appreciate it.
    6. What could be a Feldgendarmerie, if it had a Cogwheel it would be for the Engineer Officer's Academy, or before 1942 a Wehrkreis number for a Recruiting Officer.

    10. Thanks Paul. I have only been collecting in ernest the last year and a half, prior to that I was raising a family etc, and money was always needed elsewere. I don't know why the KM side of the house got so big, maybe because I am part newfie, but I served in the army and not the Navy, though Dad did. I have recived some new stuff that I will be posting this weekend, I have my Granddaughter over the weekend and it's hard to work on the computer as she want's up to play on it
    11. Salut Soviet Thanks for the comparison, so the different writing is a good indicator of where the medal was made. What are the chances of tracing down the serial # on the Bravery Medal? Does anyone know how many were awarded?

    21. I love all the enamel on these, this one must be close to 1/4 inch thick in the middle. So here's the otherside as I dont know front from back on this one Anyone know a good online dealer?
    22. Thanks Marcus, thanks for that. Here it is, and I bought it as a silver and I have the gold coming, I fiqured the "labour" 1 was older because of the loss of gilding, and it just seemed "older"
