gregM
I have a very similar sword that I posted here sometime back. I was able to trace it back to 1887. I have 3 swords all of which have the sword companysname on the blade directly below the hilt. I think I just did a GOOGLE searchon the sword maker and came upon a web site that lists many of the differentmakers and how to identify the different swords.I hope this helps.BTW- That is a great looking sword Edited September 3, 2006 by gregM

Colin Davie
Here's a nice one, if I did'nt have such grief bringing in edged weapons thru customs I would have gone for it.Chttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Antique-Masonic-Knig...1QQcmdZViewItem
