Scowen Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Is it known if Steinhaur & Luck was the only manufacturer that produced a miniature? --dj--Joe Hi Joe, I'm not sure, but so far I have only seen S&L marked ones. Here's another full size that I am sure is a fake. I do not like the RS marked types, nor the AK or "B" in a circle, but that is just my opinion. Cheers Don
Mijke Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 I agree totally with Don......just my opinion. Anyone out there ever see one with a yellow background?
Mijke Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Anybody have anything to add to this topic in the last three years? I still haven't seen a yellow one or the 3-D red one or another one with oak leaves. Mike
Jock Auld Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 (edited) Sorry mate, never seen them before your thread, have you any more detail on the booklet as it looks like it has a few more pages under the cover? Cheers Jock Edited July 19, 2014 by Jock Auld
Mijke Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Thanks for the reply Jock. I am out of town at the moment but when I get home I will scan a few pages of the document. I have several of them and they list the names and ages of the children. Mike
BURGERHAUS Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 (edited) Boy on a swing. PS I am thinking NSV is the umbrella for RDK. First one to find a yellow 3-D wins a prize. Edited July 22, 2014 by BURGERHAUS
Mijke Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Thanks Robert.......I would like to know about a yellow one or even about one with oak leaves. Mike
BURGERHAUS Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Mike These will turn up. It is just a matter of time. There has to be some lying inside cigar and jewelry boxes somewhere.!
Scowen Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Something like this one Mike? Can't say that I like it though, I don't like RS marked pieces plus it's on sale on a very dodgy website.... D
Mijke Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 I must agree with you Don. It looks painted and the children (little eagles) look adopted. Is RS for Souval or re-strike or Return to Sender? Mike

BURGERHAUS Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 (edited) I just recently was able to grab the small version in red. After a long while I must say. First addition for this organization in a dogs' age. Regards Robert Edited December 14, 2014 by BURGERHAUS
Mijke Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Nice Robert......we all must wait for a goodie now and then. Mike
Odulf Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Not much activity here lately, so what is your opinion about this item? diam. 24.5 mm
Scowen Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Personally I have never been comfortable with the pieces marked RS. Sorry.
--dj--Joe Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Don, Have you seen or read of any additional information on the variants? Wreathed, the gold that you mentioned, color hierarchy (if any) of the two piece badges? --dj--Joe
Scowen Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 Joe, Sorry, no, nothing official. Although I have noticed that the larger dealers have started to list some of the coloured & 3D pieces with ranks such as the blue version for Kreisverbandsleiter, blue 3D for Kreisamtsleiter & the black for Mitarbeiter der Landesverbandsleitung : Landeswart, Landesamtswart, Landeskassenwart, Landessippenwart etc.... However I don't know whether this is guess work or based on period evidence which I haven't seen.
--dj--Joe Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 (edited) RDK founded 1922. So --- during the third Reich period from 1933 to 1940 it was the RDK. From 1940 to 1945 it was the RDF. All those badge variants for such a short time period. If true that you had to have at least four children (three for widows?) I wonder how many would have qualified? Mothers and Fathers both qualified for the badge? Where are all the RDF badges? I have not seen an in wear image that I recall. I read that some time after 1945 it became the BKD merging in 1970 with the DFV. Please correct this if incorrect. ?--dj--Joe Edited January 21, 2023 by --dj--Joe
--dj--Joe Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 Have noted several Mitglieds-Ausweis online, however the images were to small to see the changes to the dues stamps. Also wonder what emblem was used prior to 1933. --dj--Joe
Scowen Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 I think I have an ausweis somewhere.... If I can find it I'll take a look. I do have an RDF pin somewhere as well, quite boring compared to these.
--dj--Joe Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 Don, the RDF pin must be a rare item. I have scoured the internet and only seen RDF images on paper items. Such as books and dues stamps. Regards, --dj--Joe
