Stogieman
I don't think there was a Saxon alive pre-1920 that would have mounted a medal bar like the second one....Very, very discouraging for any collector, especially a new one, to be shopping these days. HeikoGrusdat
this seller always sells a lot of medal bars from 1870 - 1918 with all the same mysterious reverses.... My personal opinion: ALL are new made!!! By the way, the battle clasps on the actual bars are for sure.......................... fakes
EuRob
Well spotted Saschaw Can I put it to GMIC and suggest a database on dodgy ebay sellers? A list of their names and AKA's they trade under. This would be a valuable reference for collectors old and new, especially new! Just my tuppence worthRob
redeagleorder
i was just trawling through the old threads when I saw the above post. I've often thought of the idea of establishing a database on GMIC so that fake sellers can be exposed, to prevent collectors from spending their money on junk. What do you think, for example is it against any privacy laws to post the names of ebay sellers? Regards, Matthew
