Guest IMHF Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Any ideas about the star.Weight 52,60 gr.Size 60х60 mm.Where did you find this one, this could be a fantasy piece with a cut of Saddam's Image like they did to the old Bakr Teachers Badges. Some sort of Breast Badge in support of Saddam. It looks Very Nice:Lorenzo
Ulsterman Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 But a one off? It's of very good quality for a (unique) fantasy. Hmmmmmm..... time will tell.....
oamotme Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Not known to me - it looks so awful it could possibly be real, but I tend to side with Ed on this.Owain
bmsm Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Any ideas about the star.Weight 52,60 gr.Size 60х60 mm. I sent a scan of the star to my friend in Iraq to see if he could help you out. His reply was that he has never seen a star like this and he has collected badges and medals in Iraq for many years . Sorry I can't help you out but I tried. Bob
Guest IMHF Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Nut al Shujat/Bravery Medals these type were awarded for the Iraq Iran War 1980-88: First 4 from the left were manufactured by Assmann Company in Germany: The last one was manufactured in Iraq, which would have cam in a small plastic box with a transparent top.
