the EK1 sure is clearly added, in my opinion quite special to see these kind of add ons, but to answer the question, as far as I can see it is the 1st, not sure though the shoulderboard is somewhat difficlut to see for me.

    Chris,

Not the 1.Inf.Rgt.K?nig.... it was a cyphered regiment. It could be the reserve regiment (I assume one existed) or the 1.Pionier Bn., or 1.J?ger Bn., or 1.Train Bn., etc. Pretty hard to narrow down with no cuffs to look at.

    Chris,

On my corps map, there are no units stationed at Trostberg. Perhaps the map only represents line units and Trostberg could relate to some reserve type unit. I have no info on where non-line units would be located. :(

Bayerisches Landwehr-Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 1 was raised in Munich. Bayerisches Reserve-Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 1 was raised in Munich, with its III.Bataillon in Rosenheim. Trostberg is 44 kilometers northeast of Rosenheim and about 90 km east of Munich.

The 1. Pionier, Train and Telegraphen units were all in Munich. The 1st Bavarian J?gers were in Freising north of Munich.
