Motorhead Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 This is complete mad....more than 450? for a case?? The iron cross wasn't part of this auction!I'm glad that I've got one of them last year...Michahttp://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...p;rd=1&rd=1
gregM Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 That seems way over the top for a case. Kind of makes you wonder ifthe high bidder realizes that the cross is not included.
Glenn R Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 I reckon that's the mistake here. I'd be tad miffed once the auction ends to find out I'd just bought the worlds most expensive case!
joe campbell Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 must have been the kaiser's... wc fields? : there's a sucker born every minute..joe
Guest Darrell Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 So what's the point of including pictures with the cross? Seems like someone was using it as bait. Even though people are crazy not to read the entire sale verbage.
Great Dane Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I can see that the winner is one of my countrymen, so German shouldn't be unknown to him...And actually his bid was made even after the seller (again) added the information that the cross was not included (yes, the seller included the cross in the picture, but if you read the text it says VERY clearly that the cross is not included)./Mike
Paul C Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Although the price is extremely high for the case I will say the case is very, very rare. I have seen the same patriotic saying in a EK2 case, but only one in an EK1 case. A other then standard EK1 case is very hard to find.
