Hauptmann
Have added another set to my collection. Not sure yet if this is a put together or (my theory if that's the case) it could have been put together by the Hungarian Mint as a way to finish selling off their stock of such special presentation cases after the fall of the communist state. I have one more set on hold and will post it as soon as that one is finalized. I believe it's the last of the sets I'll need to finish off this area of my Hungarian collection. Gordon Craig
Dan, An interesting set of badges. I think that your theory of a set put together post Communist period is probably correct. Still, very nice collection of badges. I would like to see a close up of the bottom row. Especially the badges on either side of the Border Guard badge. Hauptmann
I don't have a closeup of the Border Guards badge but happy to do that once it arrives (which I hope will be soon). I'll be checking out things on the case and will be happy to do additional shots if anything unusual pops up. Gordon Craig
Dan, Thanks for the quick response and great photos. I have several Border Guards badges so do not need photos thanks. I don't think that I have the other two though. I'll have to dig through my stuff and see. Regards, Gordon
Hauptmann
Also this cockade (sellers description) is supposed to be included with the set... although it's not pictured in the full set just as a separate piece.
