It were 4.084 EK 2 in total. Nevertheless hard to find.

If I remember right it were something in the low hundreds.

My 1870 cross with period nichtk?mpfer ribbon (sorry about the bad pic, just a quick shot inside the displaycase).

Paul, the number that I have is 4002.............. so Bernd and I are on the right track I think... something over 4000

Well, from ancient German sources (probably during WW1, I've lost track) I have 4,013 to Prussians. Probably a couple hundred more to non-Prussians. So yup, 4,000+.
