Luftwaffe officer shoulder boards

Hi.

Does any one have ideas on this unusual boards. The piping colour is sandy khaki which is rather unsual and the slip on bits are appeard to be made of of thick khaki green wool/felt.

Is this set of boards a period piece or just a fantasy piece? These boards came with Luftwaffe tropical shirt,this shirt is unissued. Could this boards be show piece for shop front of factory sample. Your inputs are fully appeciated.

I dont think that they are Luftwaffe... There are parts of me that doubt that they are even WW2 period made pieces. Can you please post some clearer/closer photos?

Thankyou for your comments, i found some remain of contact adhesive between the layer of silver braid and khaki material. The period shoulder board would not use this type of adhesive, would it?

I got this shoulder boards from Germany, it came with a Luft tropical shirt. Im happy with the shirt, it is an unissued piece and it was made by B.Rawe& Co from Nordhorn.

In my opinion these are reproductions as the materials used and the method of construction does not look like any pre 1945 shoulder board that I have ever seen .
