Steve campbell Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 I've picked up a few new items recently which I will be trying to post soon. Here is the first one, an EK1 marked KAG. This is the variant with the wide crown.
Richard Gordon Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 Steve,Somehow I missed this one... Another very nice example of KAG and one I have not yet added to my collection. One day though... Rich
Steve campbell Posted October 13, 2007 Author Posted October 13, 2007 These are suppose to be common but I don't see that many for sale compared to say the KO's. This wide crown variant is suppose to be harder to find also.
buellmeister Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 I can confirm as well that I haven't seen many from this Maunfacturer for sale as well. The search continues I tell ya...Joel
Motorhead Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 Steve, belive me-I was sweating blood because of this EK! The pics where not really good......But finally I like what I see-a fine, well detailed casted core with the wide crown in good condition.Everything like it should be!Micha

I was pretty happy when it showed. No need to panic over medals and badges really. I wouldn't have blamed you if it was no good.
Naxos Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 (edited) Very nice Cross - here is it's EKII wide crown partner Edited October 13, 2007 by Naxos
Motorhead Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 That one is in perfect condition-mine is not half as good as yours.....damned hard to find!Micha
Steve campbell Posted October 13, 2007 Author Posted October 13, 2007 So you can get a wide crown EK2 KAG also. See, it never ends! I have 2 KAG EK2's. Here is the latest one which I assume is the reqular crown version. What's the story on this maker? They are supposed to be common, yet no one knows who they were. The amount of unknown makers has always intrigued me.
Steve campbell Posted October 13, 2007 Author Posted October 13, 2007 Here's the other one. Looks to be the regular crown. Oh well. I'll keep looking I guess.
