Wood Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 After a long layoff, another comuter crash, and a complete rebuild.Off we go again
Brooks Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 Has anyone here ever come across a boxed tinnie? This is the first one I've ever seen. I always wondered how the tinnies were put out or displayed for sale at the events. I guess that some came boxed. This one says: 9.u.10 Juli 1927 38. Gauturnen des allgauer turngaues und 25 Jahr Jubilaum des Turnvereins BuchloeThe box seems to be original to the tinnie. It is a custom fit. The pin and makers label are attached on the rear.
Brooks Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 It's very difficult to get a clear scan of the back. The paper tag reads: Carl Poellath Abzeichenfabrik Schrobenhausen
Scowen Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 All the Turn related tinnies have now been moved here from the General Tinnie Database
Wood Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Swimming. This was dated on the card to which it was attached (either an old collection or a manufactures reference piece.
