I thought I'd add these, which apparently are long service medals for the state railways system. i think there's a 25 year and 20 year medal as well. Obviously cheaply made-almost carnival brittle metal and painted. Still, I'd love to see them on a Munkasor medal bar somewhere...

A lot of these have hit the market lately. Not unusual to find them in the cases with a medal bar device as well. You are certainly correct about their poor construction.

Here is a 35 Year ?Medal?, but with a different ribbon style, in a plastic case.
