I'm not sure what the requirements were to be awarded these, but the wearer had a busy 6 years--1) Centennial of liberation from Turkey, 19782) Centennial of Georgy Dmitrov, 19823) 1,300 years of Bulgaria, 19814) 40th Anniversary of Communist Bulgaria, 1984Any idea whether this would be a typical military/civil service combination?I spent $20 better once... but I'd rather not talk about it. Maybe there are some members here that are better versed in Bulgarian medals?I got a lot for 20 dollars in Columbia... My wife did not like that story too much either(not married at that time!)! lol. I really like that they seem to legitimately belong together, by the wear on the ribbons. Thanks Ed!! The medals are all "eminent citizens" awards and were widely awarded, many to party apparatchiks and bureaucrats. However, Theodor will be able to tell us more.
