Do you need any sort of paperwork to own something like this in your neck of the woods?

David when I picked this AT weapon up back in the 1960's I immediately called a staff sergeant friend who was on our local police board and through him it was registered, the weapon although old and probably not in firing condition is still registered to this day.

thank you David, the original grey finish can be seen and from what I understand this was put into Finnish service after war due to the green paint and the black imprinted SA on the barrel-tube

I have the same model Erich although , mine was ?neutered? ?NY get?s upset if it?s healthy. I?ve never seen one of the Finnish Tubes with a Blast Shield so , I think your shield was added after it left Finland. I?m still looking for an original shield for mine ..maybe someday

Mike there still is grey original paint under the green on the tube section showing ......... hard to say one way or the other about the shield

Hello, my shield, but no tube, is'nt life a b***h, I'd love a tube, the ones made in China do not have the

guiding 'grooves'.
