Wessel Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 These can be quite nice collectibles, and can be shown on desks etc which cannot be said for tunics!I have three pieces...2 original and one copy. The first is an ornament for a party official in the form of the 9th November Monument at the Feldherrnhalle. I got this on a visit to Germany and was so taken by it that I bought it rather than a tunic, which is usually my thing!
Wessel Posted February 25, 2008 Author Posted February 25, 2008 ...and the third is copies of the Partei and Wehrmacht statues that stood in the courtyard of the Reichschancellery.
Wessel Posted March 1, 2008 Author Posted March 1, 2008 ...forgot this one. Presentation to a member of an airfield at Risstissen, near Stuttgart.

Paul R Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 Very interesting pieces. Did you find all of these at the same time?
Wessel Posted March 1, 2008 Author Posted March 1, 2008 Hi PaulNo, I got them at different times. The bust I got at Manions in the good old days!
Erich Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 Very nice! I have the only other example I've ever seen of the Feldherrnhalle Mahnmal identical to yours. I really like the SA Reiter --I've never seen that one before!Erich
Erich Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 I'll see if I have any on file and attach them if I do. Otherwise I'll try to take some soon. Erich
