EK 1939 EKII Manufacturer?

I can't make out the manufacturers mark on the suspension ring of the EKII, can anyone help please?

Is it 24 with the lower portion missing?

It could very well be, or possibly a "74", it's hard to tell with a section at the top & possibly at the bottom missing.

Well there are 2 easy ways of telling if it's a '24'...

1) Check on the side of the little ring, quite often there is an additional mark there. Mine has 2 acorns.

2) Measure the size of the frame. '24' EK2 are slightly larger than standard and are referred to as 'wide frame'.

It looks like a wideframe '24' to me also.

These crosses often have poor or incomplete stamps.
