Richard Gordon Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Is it 24 with the lower portion missing?
leigh kitchen Posted February 26, 2008 Author Posted February 26, 2008 It could very well be, or possibly a "74", it's hard to tell with a section at the top & possibly at the bottom missing.
Richard Gordon Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Well there are 2 easy ways of telling if it's a '24'...1) Check on the side of the little ring, quite often there is an additional mark there. Mine has 2 acorns.2) Measure the size of the frame. '24' EK2 are slightly larger than standard and are referred to as 'wide frame'.Rich
Danny70 Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 It looks like a wideframe '24' to me also. These crosses often have poor or incomplete stamps.Regards - Danny
leigh kitchen Posted February 27, 2008 Author Posted February 27, 2008 Thank you, I'll check for acorns & measure the frame.
buellmeister Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 I too, believe it to be a 24.Regards,Joel
martin3 Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Here's an unmarked 24 wide frame clover marked, for comparing.Regards,Martin
