    Hello All...

I haven't posted anything in a while, so I thought I would show some of my recently purchased iron crosses. These make it 35 makers checked off.... wonder how many I have left to go?!!!

The first is a well worn cross marked '1' - Deschler & S?hne, Munich.

Unfortunately, it has only a partial stamp but is unquestionably a Deschler. I had been looking for one of these for ages and I know I over-paid for it.. but, hey! I finally have one!!

The second is a cross marked '52' from the firm of Gottlieb & Wagner, Idar/Oberstein. In very good condition apart from two small areas of paint loss on the 3 and 9 o'clock arms.

The third one is a beautiful cross in great condition with a matt finish on the core. Marked '56' for the firm of Robert Hauschild, Pforzheim.

And the last one is a 'saltier' example marked '138' for Julius Maurer of Oberstein.

As usual, any opinions or comments are appreciated!

    Thanks Joel!

I had been searching for a '1' & '56' for what felt like ages, so I'm really happy that these have finally been added into the collection. :D

Here's an EK2 that I received today 'Marked 1'. Few paint misses, but hey, I've been lookingt for a Nr. 1 for couple years now.

Here is a picture of my EK2's by maker with their number on the loops. There is also a Schenkl size EK, An Knight's Cross size EK2, Couple Round 3's, along with an Austrian Fold and A Parade Fold. Getting harder and harder finding missing numbers.

I bought the wood case and for the inside compartments, I bought some inserts from Riker mounts, cut them to size to fit into the case. The croses fit very nicely into each section.
