Due to a sudden (and painful) encounter between my shin and a trailer tongue I was home to participate in Detlev Niemann's Friday Feeding Frenzy. After the blood and bits of flesh cleared I came up with this little beauty From the baling twine loop I think it was originally intend to sit flat on a desk or table. There seems to be some old paper tape under the more modern masking tape holding it on. The thread holding th bottom arm of the EK in place appears to be Feldgrau uniform thread.BTW, it took nearly 2 weeks of experimenting to get a nearly reflectionless photo.
