taucher Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 Interesting!I had a discusion some time ago about iron crosses being awarded postuum,that is after the person in question died.He stated that there whas never a iron cross awarded postuum.I have my doubts about this and think they did awarded there crosses postuum.What do you guys think about this? Hi, The date a regimental commander signs an EK doc has no reflection on the date of the award. Many docs are dated and signed months (in same cases 1-3YEARS after the award.
