J Temple-West Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 The hunt for a nice original glider pilot's badge finally comes to an end. Thanks to a fellow member, I can stop having to look through all those fakes and rest easy...until a 'Juncker', of similar quality, comes along, that is. I know? it?s never ending. So, to the badge... An unmarked example, in Tombak, by the maker 'BSW'.
Stogieman Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Hi John, concur on BSW. The rivets and frame cracks being the real key for me! Nice piece and good luck with the Juncker Quest!
Guest WAR LORD Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Are you sure its not a very good fake?
J Temple-West Posted November 16, 2005 Author Posted November 16, 2005 Are you sure its not a very good fake?Knowing that you're not too up on computers, Chris...you should put a smiley after a joke.

ERIC Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 An excellent addition John - congratulations my friend! You don't see these too often!ERIC
J Temple-West Posted November 17, 2005 Author Posted November 17, 2005 Cheers guys..For reference, here are some closeups of hinge/catch.
Stijn David Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Hi john, Just magnificent , and you have one wher ethe catch is still present. That is the true week point on these BSW badges. You will find the majority with the catch broken of (due to wear, etc .. etc .. ) but this just has it all !!! Congrats once again,
