Monster Spange at Niemann

Did anyone else notice the huge 14er 1870 spange offered at Detlev Niemann? Quite remarkable and must be identifiable.

I saw it and thought the price of $5000 was a little high for me. I also did not like the rather ratty look of it. I am not saying it is bad, I am just say it is not constructed well. With the appropriate ranklist it should be traceable.

I am sure that most medals were missing and replaced sometimes. A really bad look and a much too high sales price.

Expensive and I fear though no problem to sell - wioth a Russian order in last place.

Interresting Thuringian combination. Looks very civilian, doesn't it? Hard to identify, very hard. I doubt it could be done.
