Paul R Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 At my wife's beconning, I have significantly thinned out a lot of my collection. I lost money big time, but I was able to do a straight trade to get this M43. I feel that it is the real deal, as it has a few oddities that are in common with the known originals.
Paul R Posted April 3, 2009 Author Posted April 3, 2009 Insignia close up... this is the very tunic that was used in Angolia's Reference book. The only bummer is that someone along the way swapped out the shoulder straps.
Paul R Posted April 3, 2009 Author Posted April 3, 2009 CT- Both Machine and Hand applied CTs are present on known originals.
Paul R Posted April 3, 2009 Author Posted April 3, 2009 Now, here are some images I made once it came in!
Paul R Posted April 3, 2009 Author Posted April 3, 2009 Now, since it is known that the insignia were not original to this tunic, I decided to have a little fun. Here is a medical set up!
Paul R Posted April 3, 2009 Author Posted April 3, 2009 Insignia closeup. I like the look of the Heer M44 straps. I think that there was more than a possiblity that they were used on this uniform

Bob Lyons Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 One thing about buying from Bill, you can sleep well at night with your purchases, yeah I reckon George would have had has hands on it atsome early stage !It is a stunning and rare tunic mate, you pulled off quite a coup !Bob
Paul R Posted May 28, 2009 Author Posted May 28, 2009 Thanks Bob!! Coming from you, the compliment really means a lot! It is difficult that find a LW reference that does not have your name in the acknowledgements.I hope that you have been doing well!
