Just recently aquired this nice Tombak Minesweepers Badge. It makes a nice brother to my Zinc R.K. Badge as well

Nice Colin .... appears from yours that they may have had a white wash applied to reverse when they came out of the factory !

It's actually the remains of a frosted silver finish, the photo makes it appear white.

Ladies & gentleman....... note the pin on the back of that RK in Tombak....... very similar to the pin on the back of numerous Auxiliary Cruiser Badges we ascribe to Juncker.....
