EK 1914 Another screwback EK

Another"not so easy to get "iron cross-this is a really nice example of the "Deutscher Offiziersverein".In hand it looks like 2+,but the scan ruins the pics-they are always to bright.....anyway-I bought this one as an upgrade for my unmarked one from the same maker-here are the pics,I hope you like it!

Well, that's the first time I have seen that legend on a S/B disc. Most impressive!! In fact, after quickly spinning through the archives, I cannot find anything referenced to that organization at all!

I wouldn't say organisation-not long time ago I've seen some scans from an old catalog somewhere...The "Deutscher Offiziersverein" sold nearly everything....but it's true-these EKs are really hard to find.(Usually I don't buy rusty EKs,but........).I know there's another variation out-the one with two little screws-so easy to find like the KMST EKs.........

Nice piece Micha. I agree with respects to quality. Always buy quality/condition first. Sometimes though, as with this piece, rarity must step in for precedence!
