Robin, I agree. I have only seen badges with metal skulls. But what is with the guy in the next photo?

My eyes say, it is not a metal skull. Opinions?

It's about 2cm high with edge tabs on the back. Hollow stamped brass.

I think it's from a buckle...........the 'blank' brass type which could have interchangeable badges (e.g. vet groups). I've seen this type of Wehrwolf TK before............Assmann belt buckle, I think.

Other (slight) possibility is that it's from the centre of a cap wreath............again, like the early vet types.
