Well, looks like I've been volunteered to host this forum, so after some gentle persuasion from Rick R. (and liberal application of the knout) I'll get to work. Buckles aren't my strong subject, but I'll give it a go. Guess I'll start off with my meager collection.

Prussian EM, painted steel

Here's a NCO with tab. Can't read the maker, but it was made in Wiesbaden in 1915.

If you were a Prussian officer you got to wear one of these.

Another officer's buckle. There are no traces of gilt, so I imagine it was for field wear.

I'll be posting the other states tomorrow, but don't want to leave without posting this, possibly one-off, Prussian Telegraph EM buckle.

Dunno if it was actually worn or found in a factory dump.
