I have a question with regards liners,

Is it true that period pieces had 8 flaps and post WW2 liners have 9 flaps

No kev larger size helmets will have an extra flap.

100% ok on larger helmets above 66 shell size and 59 liner size

Hi scott imo a sleeper is an item lets say from 1945 brought home as a souvenir then put away after a talk maybe, then brought to light recently.

eg not seen the light of day for a very long time.

Gladd you like it mate its spot on and use this as a comparrison for a 1939 dated luft Quist single decal .Remember blue/green smooth paint,not anti glare paint.
