Ed_Haynes
We have had, recently, on other threads, some nice suspense engendering presentations of boxed goodies. Here is one.

HuliganRS
Pretty! Are you sure this set goes with that document? The reason i ask is b/c the Dimitrov is on the last suspension style and most of these were never issued from what I understand.Rusty. Ed_Haynes
Rusty,Sure? No. Is anyone ever sure of anything from Eastern Europe? The only think I am sure of is that I -- and, I suspect, most of us -- don't know enough about Bulgiarian awards to say for sure.Ed
HuliganRS
Ed,No offense was meant. From what I understand these little "baby" suspensions were the product of the late 80's and most never made it out of the mint for awarding. Now they are flooding the Bulgarian market. That's all...Rusty.
Ed_Haynes
Sorry, Rusty, no offense AT ALL was taken. Didn't mean it to sound that way. I don't know, I don't know that anyone knows, we all have what we assume, these may be right or wrong, and that's one reason I put this up was for discussion. Thanks for discussing! Danny
Regardless, it is a very nice set. Plus the Bulgarian awards are still pretty affordable....... for now!!
Gerd Becker
I agree, wonderful set. I have never seen a Bulgarian HSL, its great to see one finally. Thanks for sharing, Ed.Gerd
Stogieman
This was actually the last thread in Bulgaria so I'd like to bump it back up for a couple of reasons. We can be sure that through the mid 80's to the fall of the government these double awards were made. I think in the case of Ed's set we have the typical "use what's lying around" mentality with the use of the older style orders book. Here's a similar awarded set except this time it has the new style document that states award of "Hero Socialist Labor" and BTW he gets "Order Giorgi Dimitrov"
Anatoly13
Hm,strange document. Can you show all sides of it pls.
Stogieman
Hi Anatoly, the only other image I have at the moment (of the document):
Stogieman
Due to the rather disgusting tropical weather we've been having, the scan-gnome is on strike, so no additional images of the document yet. However, the first thing I looked for upon arrival was a stamp. It's very faint, but is there and partially visible. The paper is some bizarre, coated stuff that apparently did not hold the ink from the seal very well. In the interim, I can show you the Hero of Labor Star:
Anatoly13
Hero is OK! But document while remains under suspicion...
