peter monahan Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 (edited) TarasThat is indeed odd. I wonder if the post has somehow been moved or the wrong image attached due to the new web system which the administrator introduced. Edited May 13, 2015 by peter monahan
Megan Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 That certainly wasn't the image I posted!I'll hunt up the originals and repost them when I'm at home.In the meantime, see them at http://medals.org.uk/ivory-coast/ivory-coast-text.htm (time I did some more on that section...)
nickstrenk Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 National Order-officer. It would be interesting to get the information about the price.Thanks. 1
nickstrenk Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 I am sure the ribbon bar is missing. For example, compare with Lebanese Order of the Cedars. There is a ribbon bar right down. 1
Sampo Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Hi Nick, For the officer Cote D'Ivoire, the missing thing in the lower right corner is a button device. These Usually go between 60-90 euro. Cheers Sampo

heusy68 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Hello Gentlemens, Here is a photo of the Ivory Coast National Order Grand Cross set with Diamonds ( likely unique ), awarded to President Charles de Gaulle of France, and on display of Museum of the Order of the Liberation ( which is set inside the French Army Museum in Paris ). Regards to all. Emmanuel
heusy68 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago (edited) Some close-up photo of the same set. On "normal" Grand Cross breast star, the center is in 1 piece, but here you can see, the center of the breast star is in 3 pieces, highly likely manufactured in gold. And only for General de Gaulle who was President of France from 1958 to 1969. It would be very interesting to know, if Queen Elisabeth II who was awarded a Grand Cross of the National Order of Ivory Coast in 1961, if she had also been awarded a set in gold with diamonds. Regards to all. Emmanuel Edited 18 hours ago by heusy68
