Thought I would open a new thread for any item related to the Border Guard Units. You can add your uniforms, badges, medals, equipment, history.... anything Border Guards! Have fun!

I'll start off with this very early Excellence in Border Guards Badge

Reverse bears a mirror image, these styles are usually from the late 1940's-1950's

Here's a new arrival. A very colorful Border Guard Badge, I suspect for a unit again? Can anyone tell which one?

Bought a Hungarian group of badges and these Bulgarian Border Guard badges came with them. No idea if these are rare?

 Hi Erik,

The one bottom right is a Badge for Excellent in Military and Political Training , nor rare but still nice 

The one in the middle of the pic is The Border Guard Ann from 1966

Top Left is Border Guard Excellent badge ( that one I think is quite rare)

Bottom Left is Border Guard " For Honorable Deed Badge , ( also quite rare)

Top Right is Border Guard Anniv Badge 1971 ( similar in rarity to the other Guard Badges<9
