I just bought another medal/order group to a GenLt and wonder if there is any way to find out more about him? His name was Toschkov Georgiev if I read right, I will post photos when it arrive. Candidate member of the BCP Central Committee elected at the XIII party Congress on April 5, 1986. Deputy to the National Assembly on June 8, 1986. BCP= Bulgarian Communist party A political general. It was indeed based in Sofia, but I believe that was a bigger thing, not just a town garrison, but the whole army structure in the western part of the country. The ink stamp consists of the USSR State Emblem in the middle and in the circle Army Unit...number... It is certificate for 1st Class Specialist in the armed Forces of the USSR /at least I understand it this way from the document/. And that Class is given to the general by an army unit commander from the soviet Army - by order the Commander of Army Unit 42202, Colonel Gavrilov.
