Soviet Soviet Defense medals - Leningrad

Hello once again,

I am looking for information on whether these are original Defense of Leningrad medals. I posted them both together.

Any help would be appreciated.

I like what I see.

Where does the wall on your medal ends? There is a rarer variation with short walls produced 1944 and a more common version produced 1945-48 with a long wall.

On the pictures you can see the difference. Long wall goes to the rim of the medal and the short wall ends at the letters.

Value of the medals in good condition (prices observed on ebay):

Leningrad: 12 € to 16 €

Stalingrad: 20 € to 26 €

Caucaus: 12 € to 18 €

I never noticed that the were different versions of the medal based on the wall length. The two medals I have both have the long wall. So, it look like these two medals were produced between 1945 and 1948, correct?

Your medals could be produced both wartime or just after war.
