pinpon590
Hello ! I'm not a specialist of WW2 EKII... And a friend is asking me about this one. Silvered metal, 44x44,1mm, weight 21g. Ribbon is UV negative. No maker mark. Is it a good one or a fake ? Wich maker if it's a good one ? Thank you for yours opinion ! Hauptmann
Is there a makers mark of any kind on the ring? It's generally stamped on there. If so a good closeup scan of that would help. Also is the core magnetic? Dan Edited May 10, 2010 by Hauptman
pinpon590
Hello ! No maker mark, even on the ring. The core is magnetic, I've forgotten to specify it... Thank you for your interest !
Hauptmann
Afraid I'll have to leave this one to one of my more learned fellow members then as without a mark I'm generally not able to work out a maker. But I'm sure just by the look of it that someone might be able to figure it out. Good luck! Dan

Hauptmann
No problem! Sorry I couldn't do more. Let me try and see if some of the others can comment and give more info. Dan
ApathyL
Hello PinPon, I think this is a maker #4 Steinhauer & Luck, also what you can find pretty common is that the small loop at the top is soldered only at the front, and then just bent back... I would like to see what others think but im pretty sure about my thought on it. regards, Les
Motorhead
I have to disagree-after comparing this one with all maker marked pieces in my collection without success I've asked Grueni(excessive '39 EKII collector).he told me it's the "standard" one-always unmarked and still unidentified.
