pinpon590 Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 (edited) Hello ! Some days ago, someone ask me about this group, taken in Germany in 1945 by his grandfather, from black Forest. I want to show you this nice group (some parts of the original group has been sold 40 years ago). We have a EKI, and a prussian crown order : 2nd class cross with swords and his star. Enjoy ! pinpon590 Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 Is it coherent that the cross is mage by Wagner and the star by JGodet ?
RAO Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Is it coherent that the cross is mage by Wagner and the star by JGodet ? Coherent, I dont no, but it is not unusual. Really nice pieces, and without doubt. Greetings Mike
VtwinVince Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Really nice items. Interesting where the silver content is marked on the cross. I have a late war example marked on the bottom arm for silver, also from Wagner. Is the cross solid or hollow?

Sorry for the delay, but I don't possess the cross, I have only to ask to the owner the the group. To answer to your your question, the cross seems to be solid...
Brian Wolfe Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Hello Pinpon, I think you have a talent for understatement. Nice? This grouping is GREAT. That''s me jumping up and down in excitement, ok, so I couldn't actually jump like that. Still what a great group. Thanks very much for the post. Quite enjoyable. Regards Brian
