EK 1914 My cased EKI

Hi guys, having nothing to do, decided to show you my one and only EK - a cased EKI. Hoping someday to add an EK2 and also the earlier /19th C./ and later /WW2/ series, but so far have only this one. Here is tge case:

The back side - only a modest square marking on the pin, nothing else.

Finally, a pcture that I like very much These did not come together, just made the picture to represent the four countries that fought together

For the first cross in your collection, that is an excellent start.

The presentation of awards from the four countries is something I like very much and I am also trying to obtain representative examples of typical awards by the allies to match them.

Is it hard to find an example of the Bulgarian pin-back cross in your country? I have been looking for one for some time, but they do not seem to turn up anywhere.

Thanks David! About the Bulgarian order, they are available from time to time, I see from time to time pieces like the one in my picture. Though I have no idea about the price /did not purchase the one in the picture, it's a family possession/. During the week I'll have a look around and will tell you.

A very nice cross and case, nice EK facsimile on the lid. Square marked crosses are a really nicely made cross I find. Thanks for sharing.

I knew that was a "square" maker before I ever saw the back. I have two a convex and a flat one and they are very distinctive. While the maker is unknown, the crosses are very high quality. As a collector, you have definitely adhered to the "quality before quantity" motto. Great cross and great group as well.

Beautiful EK with an early 1914/15 case...superb!! I've heard these 1914/15 dated cases being called "Home before Christmas" cases,whether this is correct I'm not sure.

I have one in near perfect condition from the same maker only my one is flat.
