    Gentlemen,

I would like to show you my new ribbon bar. :P

I have just one questions chaps- the swords on the Saxon Albrecht ribbon are gold; does this represent a First Class Order of Albrecht?

    Best wishes

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

A very pleasant ribbon bar. About the golden swords, they were used for second and first class. I think, and it's only my opinion, that your man received the second class. There is no other Saxon awards. He probably finished the war with the grade of Leutnant of Oberleutnant. He has never served in the Reichswehr (no long service ribbon). So he was recalled during WW2 and probably served behind the front like he has no claps on his iron cross 2nd cl.
