hunyadi
1) 10 years of voluntary service to the police forces. 2) Excelent Mason / Builder Badge - second type I believe. 3) Excelent Workers Militia Memeber 4) Excelent MHSZ member badge. I agree the badge looks older than the case - probably mixed up at one point 5) 5 year service badge in the Workers Militia 6) Excelent Youth Socialist Brigade this is the upgraded class from the standard type of badge. 7) Numbered Stahanoviszta badge - nice example for 300% labor increase... Stogieman
New Szot Badge in paperboard case with impressed logo on lid. The box is very similar to a late Bulgarian Hero Star box in that the base piece is larger than the lid of the case.

cimbineus
Yes, indeed, these medals are awards of Veszprem county, and their exact name is: "For Veszprem County". These medals had double function. First, they served as a county award for long service or outstanding work in the county's offices, and second, they could be awarded to inhabitants of the county for they voluntary work or donations. cimbineus
Gordon Craig
cimbineus, Thanks for the additional information on the county medals. I should have finished my post in a better manner. I've collected a number of these medals, and badges, awarded by different counties for the same purpose. Regards, Gordon
