Megan Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 (edited) Treuedienstmedaille der Deutschen Post Instituted on 13 October 1960, with the gold clasp for the longest length of service being introduced on 19 November 1971. It was awarded for faithful service in the Postal Service, in 4 classes based on length of service. Taz Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) Hi Paul, There is no seperate medal as such, it just replaces the normal Gold medal ribbon. From the 19th. November 1971 the Ehrenspange zur Treuedienstmedaille in Gold was issued.1971-1972 there was no minature oak leaves and from 1973 they were added as shown in the pic below. 1971 bis 1972 für 50-jährige Dienstzeit (Männer): Ehrenspange zur Goldenen Medaillefür 45-jährige Dienstzeit (Frauen): Ehrenspange zur Goldenen Medailleab 1973 für 40-jährige Dienstzeit (Männer): Ehrenspange zur Goldenen Medaillefür 35-jährige Dienstzeit (Frauen): Ehrenspange zur Goldenen MedailleRegards Eddie Edited March 6, 2011 by Taz
