adam Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 hi, gentlemen, anyone have this type? or someone could provide some information.
Alfred Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 A very rare award. This screwback Lenin type -Typ 4 variation 1- (platin head) is found in the serial number range 2573 to 9170.
adam Posted April 28, 2011 Author Posted April 28, 2011 more information of this Lenin: the weight is 17g,without screw plate. please notice the bottom of the screw, there are three number, 638.
JimZ Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 more information of this Lenin: the weight is 17g,without screw plate. please notice the bottom of the screw, there are three number, 638. 5461 is the serial number which is what makes the order researchable. 638 is just a makers mark on the screwpost. This variation is one of the earlier awards, refer to the range mentioned above, and not the most readily available variation of the Order of Lenin.
speedytop Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 (edited) Hi, 17g ? The weight of my order is 35,14g. The number (four-digit) is strongly abraded (with a story about that). Uwe Edited April 29, 2011 by speedytop
Alfred Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 If the weight is 17 gramm it is most likely a fake.
