Chris Boonzaier Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Unfortunately I do not have the history of the 84th, but I did find him mentioned twice in the reichsarchiv history... one for an attack on hill 304 at verdun (yup, that made my day) and once for the Tank Battle at Cambrai. I am not sure what he did in 1918... I usually collect just EK docs, but this one I had to have, it is kind of "the next step" and I needed one of the docs. If anyone has a history of the unit... Best Cchris

ostprussenmann_new Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 I have always like this document. It is amazing that it has survived. Where did you find it? I own one myself. You should try to find a picture of him, see if you can find a Regimental History (try looking on the google and or wikipedia; there is normally references to published histories on there), and find out the other awards that he earned. Obviously we know he at least has a EK II, EK I, and HOH3X. That is a start. ostprussenmann
