Indeed these are part of the central archives of the ministry of Defence located in Podolsk, just South of Moscow. For any of you who has researched a Soviet ODM, you must know that the documents received are stored somewhere in Russia.....Well this is part of the complex!! There is indeed a whole subforum dedicated to researched documents. If you have any such research please post there. Yes - Christophe. You can see my monuments in Moscow, Berlin and Ulaanbaatar. But I have other relatives in other countries, China and North Korea. Some of them are still alive. Who am I? Monuments exist in the cities mentioned by ub6365, like at the Soviet memorial in Berlin, where the two first T-34 entered in berlin are displayed. This tank has been produced under licence, with variants in the counries mentioned : China, North-Korea... The pic shows the T-34 monument in Ulan-Bator... Ch. With Oleg Konstantinovich Antonove being an HSL.....and with his A7 glider being produced in Kharkov...However I hardly think there are monuments to that! Perhaps Chrstophe is on the right track. It was designed by architects George and Zurab Chakhava Jalaghania to the Ministry of Construction of Roads of the Socialist Soviet Republic of Georgia and was completed in 1975. Since then he has worked as an architect with his own studio and realized projects in Georgia as well as in Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan,Afghanistan and Livia. He claims that his main inspiration is the unique nature of my country with its individuality and beauty of each region in harmony with mountain villages. I was always amazed by the ordinary Georgian peasant's ability to build the house where the most expressive landscape was opened, sometimes preferring the nature's beauty to the living convenience. That is why the mastering of complicated relief became the defined moment of my creative work. On my view, the more relief is complicated, the more possibilities have the architect.[3] Chakhava received several Honoration and awards. He was honored by the Union of the Architects of USSR, 1983 he received the State Prize of the USSR Council of Ministers. The Georgian Union of Architects awarded him with a medal for "The Special honor in Architecture".
