Mannschafts-Pour-le-Mérite on a medal bar - your opinions !

Hello experts,

this medal bar is in an actual auction - but I do have some doubts about the so called Mannschafts-Pour-le-Mérite.

It seems to be one of the very rare ones in pure gold?

I asked the seller about the "T" in "Verdienst" - no answer.

What do you think?

Hello Detlef:

This piece is not made of gold and is not an officially awarded piece. At best, it is a period copy made for everyday wear on the large medal bar.

There were genuine gold pieces, but they were awarded very early in the history of the award. They are extremely rare.

If I remember well, Kai Winkler is offering an original gold one on his website...I think 6 till 7 k€.
