JapanX Posted October 22, 2013 Author Posted October 22, 2013 Good thing we are dealing with dilettantes - they don`t even know how to homogeneously patinate their creation ...
JapanX Posted October 22, 2013 Author Posted October 22, 2013 And they completely forgot about gurt patination
JapanX Posted October 22, 2013 Author Posted October 22, 2013 Typical signs of "late war vintage"
utopis Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 $480?! Well, maybe in China you can manufacture for a dime, but in Western- Europe you'll spend far more just making this pieces.
paul wood Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Why do you think Ernst Blass made his masterpieces in Nepal, same reason that lots of multinationals use third world labour, its all down to economics and profit margin. Also you'd pay a lot for European manufacture but it would not be as good (health and safety forbids the use of poisons in making nice enamel) Paul

paul wood Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I notice he uses the name St John, his offering is far from saintly and he is even stupid enough to show the edge which would not fool a blind man. Paul
