Bundesrepublik 1957 patriotic piece

while this is not specific to the 1957 issue of the EK,

it is perhaps the closest i've seen.

i like this piece very much because of the recognition

of all five issues of the EK. it is very nicely done.

i have no idea who would have commissioned this.

any info/thoughts appreciated!

good question. the one pictured was found up in Usedom, which is ex DDR. more I cannot say to it.

is done in a nice quality enamel.

Whatever the purpose, It is nicely made and it's rare to see such pieces manufactured post-ww2.
