azyeoman Posted December 17, 2013 Author Posted December 17, 2013 A truly beautiful bar by Fritz Kindler of Baden-Baden.
lambert Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Hello EveryoneI have this in my collection, I have no identification and also I know of no other that way. Has anyone seen this before? what could it be? Lambert 1
azyeoman Posted December 17, 2013 Author Posted December 17, 2013 Despite there not being a label on it, which is the gist of this thread, I suspect it may be a home-made addition to this single parade mounted bar. I see there are markings on the female side of he snaps and it appears that they may have been added after the deterioration of the red cloth backing. It's a new "style" to me and it would make it awkward to fasten to a uniform or a men's suite.
lambert Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Thanks for the reply. I like this style parade mounted bar, but I agree with you, it should not be comfortable. There is a mark on the leather that I could not identify. I'll try to find if there is any name. Lambert 1
azyeoman Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 A nice Godet mounted non-combatant pair.
azyeoman Posted January 10, 2014 Author Posted January 10, 2014 Wonderful parade mounted frack by Werner.
azyeoman Posted January 12, 2014 Author Posted January 12, 2014 (edited) A nicely mounted trio by A. Bux of Stuttgart. Nothing unusual, but sadly it appears it may have had a 2nd award clasp removed from the EK2. Instead of The more common silver or white on black this label is brown on white.
