Chris Boonzaier Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Here is a German box of joy... when wound up it produces a 3000v charge, enough to make up to 100 detonators go BOOM! with one flick of a switch.....
dond Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 You could probably make someone talk with it as well......... What's the date on it?
Chris Boonzaier Posted June 13, 2012 Author Posted June 13, 2012 You could probably make someone talk with it as well......... What's the date on it? There is no date as such, but Jeremie, our caving friend is a bit of a specialist on these and dates it wartime. He has unclipped a wire in the dynamoes in his... just incase... apparently this thing would have the same effect as viagra if you shock yourself with it.
dond Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Nice. I am currently reading a book on the mining operations of the ANZAC Mining Corps.
Brian Wolfe Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Hi Chris, A few years ago I obtained my pyrotechniques license so this is especially interesting to me. I like making things go "Boom" but unlike the fellows in the Engineer Corps I can produce a great colour show as well...still... there's the "Boom". A very nice find indeed. Regards Brian
