fjcp Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 (edited) Here is one I forgot to bid on.... A nice variety of orders and I believe that's a Polonia restituta around his neck......Never seen that before. Cheers JC ps. Not sure what the chinese orders are. Nick? Edited February 1, 2014 by fjcp
JapanX Posted February 1, 2014 Author Posted February 1, 2014 Nice one JC! Chinese order is the order of Golden Grain (most likely 5th class, but could be as well 6th). Looks like suspension of this Grain was broken
fjcp Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Golden grain... That's the name of the thing... I looked it up but couldn't remember. Damn 30s. What's the order hiding behind the RS?
JapanX Posted February 2, 2014 Author Posted February 2, 2014 That's the thing! It's not another order - it's suspension of golden grain that was sewed on the ribbon
fjcp Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Hi Nick, I was having an old people's moment. Who knew 38 would be such a rough year. I actually meant the suspension of the RS. It seemed so far up from the actual order I thought something else was hiding back there... So RS suspension it is. JC
JapanX Posted February 2, 2014 Author Posted February 2, 2014 Got it! I think it's just photo glare - paulownia leaf of sun and grain became inseparable P.S. Hi Nick, I was having an old people's moment. Who knew 38 would be such a rough year. You get that right! Good news - booze is still working
