Uncategorised Bad fantasy piece or good Zeppelin badge？

Hello from hot and humid Shanghai gents. I noticed this badge on a New Zealand site sorry I can't post a photo here I'm using a Chinese laptop and can't decipher some of the keys and ‘save image’ etc so I can only post a link bear with me please. As I've already politely informed the seller about her ‘genuine’ WW1 German tank badges flaws I was concerned about this badge. I've searched this site for any reference to a Zeppelin crew badge and came up short. Here is the link

In fairness to the seller I bought a nice Mecklenberg Cross off her with no complaints and I've bid on her Veterans membership badge but the rest of her German items don't exactly fill me with confidence - any help with opinions that I can post on the site re these items would be greatly appreciated and thanks again gents!

Minefield flag - Dosen´t look lika the real ones I seen ?

The Viking ring smell all bad to me

" Uboat-badge " ?? never seen one, but dosnt look like anything genuine WWII to me

Navy observers badge - no don´t think so , no

Hansa Cross - Looks completely Genuine to me

And the Zeppelin Badge Crew badge ? In my humble opinion its a fake/fantasy piece but I have seen theese sold for 100s $

(wich is no sure sign of course) maybe some WW 1 Air expert can tell for sure ?

Thanks Christer - I don't know anything about Zeppelin or Navy obvserver badges but I do have a U-boat badge that actually has a U-boat on it I had a look at the Zeppelin pilots badge and it doesn't have ZEPPELIN written on the side - so I wasn't sure about a crew badge

I've seen those Zeppelin badges around, and have no idea if it is a genuine item. The Naval Observer badge is a piece of junk.

Thanks for that mate I appreciate the help - most of the buyers on this site never venture onto the net beyond their own site from what I can see so I always try and research for them here and elsewhere when time permits

In my opinion the Hanseatic Cross is the only period original in the list,

the rest belongs in the fantasy / copy / poor repro section.
